Oka Tsuneyoshi Shoten is a sugar wholesaler established here.
1939
The company was incorporated and became Okatsune Shoten Co., Ltd.
1951
Started flour wholesale business as a side business
1960
Koto branch office opened in Kinshicho, Sumida Ward
1970
Opened Yamate branch in Nakamura Minami, Nerima-ku Changed company name to Okatsune Co., Ltd. on the 90th anniversary of founding
1972
Osaka branch opened
1978
Information magazine "Marketing Eye" launched
1979
Opened the food department and established a cold storage and processing plant for shiitake mushrooms.
1983
Koto Branch and Meiwa Transport moved to the former Matsushima workshop in Edogawa Ward (January)
Moved to temporary office in Kofunecho due to new head office building construction (February)
1984
Head office building completed, move-in and unveiling (September)
Company newsletter "Gaslight" launched (November)

Established Ettalong Enterprises, a subsidiary of Okatsune Shoji, in Hong Kong, and began selling imported food products with even more detail (September)
